I first discovered Talitha Koum through the lip balm and have gradually branched out to sunscreen and cleansers. The products don't irritate my skin, but the textures aren't too light either, which makes them satisfying to use. The prices aren't low, but I like the values, including plant-based ingredients and no animal testing. I hope the brand lasts for a long time rather than being a passing trend. My shower at the end of the day is important to me, so I choose products carefully. I learned this was a vegan brand and decided to try it! The packaging was so pretty that it impressed me right away. The recycled plastic makes it stand out among plastic containers and lets me feel good about using it. I wash thoroughly all over, and about one and a half pumps gives plenty of foam. For an adult woman, I don't think the amount is lacking. My skin is very sensitive and turns red if I use a separate scrub, so I don't. This makes my skin smooth enough that it seems to tidy up flakes without scrubbing! I wanted a strong scent, but this is subtle. Since it's a cleanser that rinses away, I think that's okay. If you want scent to remain, you probably need to use it with the body balm. Twist the pump to the right to open. Press 2 to 3 times, work into a rich lather with your hands or a sponge, then cleanse the body gently and rinse thoroughly. After showering, follow with Body Balm to finish your routine.
