The foam format is easy to use, moisturizing, and soft. The cleansing power is decent. I don't wear heavy makeup, so I was happy with it. I'd recommend it more for washing in the morning. How do I use it?
Use morning and evening. Pump 2 to 3 times into your palm, then massage the foam gently over a wet face along the skin’s texture. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. If the foam looks smaller, gently shake the bottle; sulfate-free formulas can foam less when resting.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Face Cleanser is sulfate-free, formulated at pH 5.5 to 6.5 and rated Excellent by Dermatest. It is suitable for the whole family.
Is it fragrance-free?
No. Face Cleanser has a soft, clean green floral scent, formulated with sensitive skin in mind. You can find fragrance in the full ingredient list above.
Does it remove makeup and sunscreen?
For makeup and sunscreen, we recommend removing them first with a first cleanser, then following with Face Cleanser.
What does “mildly acidic” mean?
Mildly acidic formulas sit at pH 5 to 6.5, closer to skin’s ideal pH of about 5.5 than weakly acidic formulas at pH 3 to 5. Staying closer to neutral helps keep skin balanced.
How is it different from a regular foam cleanser?
It dispenses as a ready-made foam. One or two pumps give soft, rich bubbles, so a small amount cleans well while the cushion of foam keeps friction to a minimum.
What is it free from?
Face Cleanser is made without 7 types of parabens, D4, D5 and D6 silicones, BHT, BHA, phenoxyethanol and gluten.
Is it vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. Face Cleanser is certified by The Vegan Society and PETA cruelty-free, and made only with ingredients not tested on animals.
