Is it a sunscreen?
No. The UV study evaluated skin calming after controlled UV exposure. Multi Balm use began 24 hours after exposure. It does not provide sun protection. Use a sunscreen for sun protection.
Who can use it?
Gentle enough for everyday use.
Is it a hard, waxy stick?
No. Most sticks rely on a lot of wax to keep from breaking. Multi Balm keeps wax to a minimum and is filled with 39% natural oils and 17% moisturizing ingredients, so it melts in like a moisturizing cream.
Can I use it over makeup?
Yes. Tap it lightly onto areas where makeup looks dry or flaky to smooth them down and add a natural dewy glow.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Multi Balm received an Excellent rating in a Dermatest patch test on 30 adults with sensitive skin. The undiluted product was applied to the upper back for 24 hours. No irritation reactions were observed at the 24-, 48- and 72-hour assessments. Individual reactions may vary.
Is it vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. Multi Balm is certified by The Vegan Society and PETA cruelty-free, and made only with ingredients not tested on animals.
